The administration, faculty, and staff of MCTC are dedicated to providing a variety of opportunities to support and encourage students' academic success.

Academic Skills Center

The Academic Skills Center (ASC), located in the Community College building Room 138, is operated by a director and a highly qualified staff of math instructors and study mentors offering tutorial assistance to individuals and study groups. In addition to working with teachers, students have access to computers and videos to assist in building academic skills and refreshing existing skills.

In order to use the ASC's services, a student must register for one credit hour of an ASC course. ASC courses are also co-requisites to the developmental math classes.

Fall and spring semesters hours of operation:
Monday - Thursday 8 AM to 8 PM
Friday 8 AM to 3 PM
Saturday 9 AM - 1 PM
Sunday 3 PM - 7 PM
  Summer school hours vary.
