A core group of members from several institutions in the Community & Technical College System (CTCS) have been working with West Virginia Network for Educational Telecomputing (WVNET) and SunGard Higher Education (SGHE) to develop a plan to separate the data for two institutions that resides in a single Banner system into separate Banner systems. Each institution will have a plan that is tailored to meet their respective implementation needs. Pat Hunt, HB 3215 Implementation Coordinator, is managing this project for all institutions participating. Each institution will manage and execute their individual plan accordingly.
On July 1, 2009, Marshall University will no longer be providing MCTC with Banner software and support for use during the 2009-2010 Fiscal Year.
Mission StatementThe goal of this project is to have MCTC successfully operational on our own Banner System including Banner Finance, Student, Accounts Receivable, Financial Aid and Self-Service (aka MILO) modules. The MCTC Banner system will be hosted and maintained by WVNET in Morgantown, WV. Additionally, non-Banner Payroll and HR solutions will be addressed. -
