(EBSCO) This subscription focuses on the academic and trade information needs of community colleges. This multidisciplinary collection covers topics across programs and fields of study offered in Community Colleges as well as key subject areas such as the Humanities and Social Sciences, Business, Science & Technology, and Literary Criticism. 

(EBSCO) Students in grades K-5 will find reliable information on a variety of topics with Explora, an easy-to-use interface that lets you search all of your library’s EBSCO resources at once. Conduct keyword searches or browse topics by categories such as animals, arts and music, geography, language arts, math, science and social studies. This platform provides full-text articles in HTML or PDF format, thousands of images, videos, and tools to translate, annotate, cite, listen to, print, save, email, and share content (e.g. to Google Classroom). In addition, Topic Overviews provide background information to help you get started with your research.

(EBSCO) This database is the richest collection of consumer health information available to libraries worldwide, providing information on many health topics including the medical sciences, food sciences and nutrition, childcare, sports medicine and general health.

(EBSCO) This database provides nearly 550 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition also features the AHFS Consumer Medication Information, which covers 1,300 generic drug patient education sheets with more than 4,700 brand names.

(EBSCO) Legal Information Reference Center* is an online database designed to assist the general public in legal matters of all kinds. It includes exclusive full text for many top consumer legal reference books, as well as thousands of legal forms.

(EBSCO) This multidisciplinary database provides full text for nearly 1,700 periodicals with full-text information dating as far back as 1975. Covering virtually every subject area of general interest, MasterFILE Premier also contains full text for nearly 500 reference books and over 164,400 primary source documents, as well as an Image Collection of over 592,000 photos, maps & flags.

(EBSCO) Newspaper Source provides cover-to-cover full text for more than 40 (U.S.) & international newspapers. The database also contains selective full text for 389 regional (U.S.) newspapers. In addition, full text television & radio news transcripts are also provided.

(Lexis Nexis) Nexis Uni is an easy-to-use academic search engine that provides full-text access to more than 17,000 news, business, and legal sources. Please register your login while you are on campus for off-campus access.

(EBSCO) NoveList Plus is a comprehensive readers’ advisory resource. In addition to the fiction database that NoveList has offered, NoveList Plus adds nonfiction to provide a complete solution for your readers.  With NoveList Plus, you can find titles, articles, and lists for both your fiction and nonfiction needs.  NoveList Plus also included audiobook information, including audiobook recommendations and audio samples.

Whether your library or school uses Accelerated Reader levels, Lexile levels, or both, NoveList K-8 Plus lets you search for books with your kids’ favorite story elements, then limit by reading level so you can hand your young reader a just right book.

(EBSCO) Points of View Reference Center is a full text database designed to provide students and schools with a series of controversial essays that present multiple sides of a current issue. Essays provide questions and materials for further thought and study and are accompanied by thousands of supporting articles from the world’s top political and societal publications.

(ProQuest) A continuously expanding collection of 200,000+ multi-disciplinary academic ebooks delivered on Ebook Central. All titles are selected for quality and relevance, with unique titles from Wiley and DRM-free chapter downloads.

(EBSCO) Primary Search provides full text for more than 70 popular, magazines for elementary school research. All full text articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles), and full text information dates as far back as 1990.  *Please note: this database is NOT RECOMMENDED for college level research, but is provided as a source for Elementary Education majors. 

(Psychotherapy.net) has been producing training videos for therapists since 1995.  Unlike almost every other profession, students rarely have the chance to view their mentors or teachers practicing psychotherapy. The opportunity to view real sessions, and to hear leading experts discuss the thoughts behind their interventions is invaluable. (EBSCO) This database provides comprehensive full text coverage for regional business publications. Regional Business News incorporates coverage of more than 80 regional business publications covering all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States.

(Library of Congress) Sanborn Maps Contains searchable images of historical Sanborn Map Company fire insurance maps from the collection of the Library of Congress. Maps are arranged by state, county, and city and include building locations, construction materials, and information on exterior features.
