Deaf Studies
The Deaf Studies certificate program is designed to give students a foundation in American Sign Language (ASL) and acquaint them with basic issues of concern to the Deaf community.
Taking the Next Step & Planning for College!
Parent Night will begin with an overview session covering financial aid and the support services available to help students be successful during the academic year. Breakout sessions will follow and parents can choose those that interest them. Subjects include opportunities for students taking dual credit classes that earn both high school and college credit as well as transfer options or students seeking bachelor’s degrees. Our financial aid team will also be available to assist with the Federal Application for Federal Student Aid process and help answer any questions you may have.

The academic program requires a drug screening and a criminal background check prior to allowing students into the clinical setting. Additional drug and/or background check may be required by clinical

Individuals who complete the above course will receive a certificate of Successful Completion of the Event Management Skill Set from the Mountwest Community & Technical College.
