I graduated from Marshall in spring of 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in management. Outside of advising, I enjoy cooking, games (every kind), music, and my lovely cat, Gordon. I strive to empower students with the knowledge, confidence, and ambition to pursue & achieve all of their goals!
I am a first-generation college student, I have completed an Associate in Science, as well as numerous healthcare related certifications, at Ashland Community and Technical College. Fall 2024 I will graduate from Marshall University with a Regents Bachelor of Art- minor in Psychology.
In my free time; I enjoy spending time with loved ones, attending sporting events & cheer competitions with my nieces, playing with my spoiled dog- Brynlee, cooking and binge watching a good Netflix series.
I truly enjoy my job and the small role that I play in helping students achieve their educational goals. I like to challenge myself consistently with going above and beyond and I am happy to help in any way that I can.
I am available to motivate, chat, encourage, offer advice (academic or personal) any time….my office is the incredibly pink one!
I graduated from Ashland Community & Technical College with an Associate in Arts and received my Bachelor’s in Sociology from Berea College.
In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, playing video games ,and spending time with my family. I am committed to service and engagement to ensure students get the best out of their college experience while achieving their academic goals.
In my off hours, I find enjoyment in running after my two children, and when I am not doing that, I am enjoying peace in whatever way I can. Typically, this comes in the form of running or lifting weights. My aim as an advisor is to assist students in feeling empowered and confident in their ability to succeed. In doing so, I hope to give individuals the power to change their lives, and the lives of their families. I want students to know, I was a student at one point too, I remember the hesitation I once felt to speak with my advisor. Keeping that in mind, I never want anyone to feel that way, so don’t ever feel that you can’t come to me, no matter the question or situation I will do my absolute best to assist you, just reach out!
